This year's Vallejo Education Business Alliance (VEBA) Gala features the head of the entire Cal State University system board, and organizers want her to know that Vallejo supports its institutions of higher learning, event organizers said.
The funds raised from this third annual event will provide college scholarships for Vallejo students, but, it's even more important this year, alliance member and former Vallejo City Councilman Tom Bartee said.
