City officials hope to get ahead of the newly voter-approved statewide recreational marijuana law, by imposing a temporary ban on outdoor cultivation as part of their commitment to keeping America Canyon a safe community, according to Tuesday's meeting's agenda.
The city in January banned medical marijuana dispensaries for similar reasons.
