Seniors from Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo have seen the future, and it's green.
Almost 50 kids from the Engineering Academy traveled to Mare Island on Thursday and visited both the U.S. Forestry Service and the Blu Homes factory as part of Career Day.
The students were introduced to men and women who work in environmental and engineering fields that focus on sustainability.
