NAPA >> Dr. Patrick J. Sweeney, superintendent of Napa Valley Unified School District since July 2010, will retire on June 30, at the end of this school year, he announced Friday.
"It has been an honor and privilege to serve the students, families, faculty, staff, administrators, classified managers and Board," Sweeney, 61, said in an announcement to staff.
