New information indicates that the first fatal car crash of 2018 may have been caused by a motorist who drove off afterwards, and Vallejo Police Department officials are trying to track that person down, they announced Tuesday.
Traffic investigators have learned that the cause of the Jan. 4 crash that killed 23-year-old Mario Soto-Landa of Vallejo, was "the result of an additional vehicle that did not remain at the scene," police said.
