Sutter Solano, Kaiser Permanente report no staffing issues related to flu season

Local hospital officials say they were braced for this year's flu season.

Sutter Solano officials say the number of flu cases coming in seem to be about the same as past years, though the number of people admitted to the hospital with the flu is higher this year.

"Sutter Solano Medical Center is seeing about nine to 12 cases of the flu per day," Emergency Department manager Gary Cole said.
