Thompson co-sponsors legislation to improve prescription access for Medicare beneficiaries

Rep. Mike Thompson (D- St. Helena), on Tuesday, joined Reps Bill Johnson of Ohio, Ben Ray Lujan of New Mexico, and Arizona's David Schweikert in introducing a bill designed to improve access to prescription medications for Medicare beneficiaries, Thompson's office staff announced.

H.R. 4841, the Standardizing Electronic Prior Authorization for Safe Prescribing Act, will make the processes more efficient, they said.
