BENICIA >> The city's weighty debate over just what makes a pig a pet finally came to a head Tuesday night, as the Benicia City Council unanimously approved allowing mini - or "pot-bellied" - pigs as pets.
The vote comes on the heels of an initial ordinance that had specified weight restrictions for the animals.
