A free two-day event in honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Month is planned for June in Napa, organizers announced.
"June is World Elder Abuse Awareness Month and June 15 is Elder Abuse Awareness Day," officials said. "For the first time in U.S. history, the number of people over 60 years old exceeds those under age 15.
