BENICIA > > The Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued a Spare The Air alert for Benicia on Wednesday.
Heat and wind conditions will most likely increase smog, the district said.
Antioch, Concord, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek are also being advised.
Residents are asked to avoid using cars if possible.
