A Vallejo man was shot late Monday at a gas station for not handing his car keys over fast enough to a group of carjackers, Vallejo Police Department Lt. Kent Tribble said.
At about 11:15 p.m. Monday, a 60-year-old male and his 63-year-old wife stopped at the Shell station at 1604 Lewis Brown Road, and the man exited the car to pump fuel into his blue, 2009 Honda CRV, when he was approached by three black, male adults in dark clothing, Tribble said.
