AMERICAN CANYON >> For nearly 20 years, city officials have honored those who give of themselves for the betterment of the community with special recognition and awards going to those deemed most worthy.
This year, the city's most prestigious award - the Gateway Award - went to Nance Matson and Sande Sutter at the 18th Annual American Canyon Community Recognition Ball on Saturday.
