Mike Thompson slams GOP health care plan

Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) on Thursday voted against the Republicans' American Health Care Act, which he says repeals key provisions of the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare.

The bill is essentially the same as the one previously introduced in March, when the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated it would cost 24 million Americans their health coverage, Thompson said.
