American Canyon businesses are set to get an official visit from the Board of Equalization's (BOE) Statewide Compliance & Outreach Program (SCOP), agency officials said.
Visits to non-residential-based business in American Canyon's 94503 Zip Code are planned.
The purpose of the program, officials said, is to educate business operators about the#xa0;BOE, its#xa0;tax and fee#xa0;programs, "as well as identify gaps in compliance where businesses may be selling or leasing#xa0;tangible personal property without a seller's permit," they said.
