Four intersections along Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo are having traffic lights installed in the hope of increasing safety, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) officials announced Tuesday.
The work will mean intermittent lane closures along Highway 29, they said.
Caltrans has started installation the new traffic signal lights and new, brighter street lights on Highway 29, (also known as Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo), officials said.
