Possible signs of life at Vallejo's long-dormant former Walmart

Something may be going on at the long-abandoned site of Vallejo's old Walmart store at 5180 Sonoma Boulevard.

Readers reported seeing workers at the site last week and heavy equipment a few days later, though by Tuesday when Vallejo's Building Department personnel went to check on the site, it was shut up tight, and clean as a whistle, Chief Building Official Lonell Butler said.
