Rep. Mike Thompson hosts his Annual Vallejo Pasta Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Dan Foley Cultural Center, 1499 N. Camino Alto, his office announced.
Thompson has invited Rep. Doris Matui as his special guest, according to the announcement.
"Matusi (who has represented the city of Sacramento and its surrounding areas since 2005) represents the issues that are so important to all of us such as creating jobs, ensuring access to high quality health care, preserving Social Security and Medicare, bringing our troops home, funding our schools, and a science based response to global warming - must all be protected and fought for in Congress," it says.
