Evangelina Perez-Bechtel of Vallejo spent 20 years in a wheelchair before finding out just how true the old adage that "you are what you eat" really is.
A concert musician, singer and music teacher for the first part of her adult life, an accident in 1988 left Perez-Bechtel with a back injury so painful that she had to rely on a wheelchair to get around.
Vallejo woman is living proof of eating healthy
