Solano County got more than $5 million from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) earlier this month, as its portion of the more than $337 million the firm paid in property taxes and franchise fees this spring to the 50 counties and 243 cities where it owns and operates gas and electric infrastructure serving 16 million Californians, company officials announced.
