The Solano County Department of Health and Social Services, Behavioral Health Division, Wellness Recovery Unit hosts a free suicide education and prevention event from 6 to 8 p.m. May 9 at 2101 Courage Drive, multipurpose room, in Fairfield and everyone is welcome to attend, organizers said.
The event will feature a talk by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Gordon Doughty, Jr.
